Description

These environmentally friendly bird boxes are made with loving care from resourced materials including weathered cedar barn board, standard-sized license plates, mahogany, plywood and nylon venetian blind cord.

The 1-1/8” diameter entrance hole design makes these boxes an ideal home for chickadees, wrens, titmice, finches, sparrows and other small cavity-nesting birds. 

Place the nesting box near or under a mature tree. In spring, summer and fall, these birds feast on insects and spiders making them very desirable to have around. In the winter, they are attracted to feeders with sunflower seeds, suet, peanuts and mealworms.

All winning items must be picked up at Christ Church in Pomfret CT on Saturday Dec 6 from 10am-1pm. If need be, other arrangements may be available.
