Black Limba Tray

Description

This 9 1/2” x 1 1/2” bowl by Michael Fay is shaped like a Tambourine because of the way it sang on the lathe. Black Limba is a hardwood from Africa and comes in both black and white versions. The wood has a straight grain and smooth finish. Michael Fay and his wife have been supporters of Barnabas since they moved to Amelia Island nine years ago. In addition to being a talented wood artisan, Mike is an author, photographer and editor.
