Blue Earth created their curbside residential compost pickup service to help those who want to compost, but don't have the time, space, or expertise. It's simple! Fill your pail and they'll pick it up at your curb every two weeks. Blue Earth provides a bucket and bag for food scraps (including meat and bones), picks up the full bag and provides a new bag at curbside every two weeks. Once you start composting, you won’t be able to imagine any other way! 
Service is limited to the following towns -
Avon, Bloomfield*, Branford, Canton*, East Hartford*, Farmington, Glastonbury, Guilford, Hartford, Manchester, Mansfield, New Britain*, Newington, Rocky Hill, Simsbury, South Windsor*, West Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor.
* Service is not available in all parts of the town.
Subscribers are also eligible for 6 bags of compost, 3 between January - June and 3 between July - December.
