Description
Iris graminea, Plum-scented Iris. Described by Linnaeus in 1753. A grass-like
species iris from the Caucus and west to Spain. RHS Award of Garden Merit. 16’’ tall.
Flowers in May. Very adaptable but prefers a good garden loam. Delightful as a
small cut flower. Multiple rhizomes.
