Created in 1932, the Bowers Museum is one of Orange County’s premier museums and features exhibits from around the world, as well as a four-star restaurant, wonderful gallery gift shop and a picturesque garden in the courtyard to relax and enjoy nature, peace and quiet. The Bowers Museum holds over 100,000 objects focusing on cultural arts, with major collections in Native American art, Ancient Americas ceramics, Asian art, Pacific Islands art, African art, and California Plein-Air painting. Key highlights include more than 24,000 Native American items, West Mexican shaft tomb figures, and extensive early 20th-century California art.
