HGC 4, 1598-1599. SNG Copenhagen 63. Kroll 15. A late mass coinage issue presented here in an admirable Choice XF with strike and surface graded at 5/5 - 3/5. Both sides of the flan feature a recognizable design with the head of the Athena to the right on the obverse and the standing owl on the reverse. These Tetradrachm types consistently garner attention among the collector community in higher grades and remain a staple of silver Ancients coinage.
