Two families’ lives are inter-woven by one life-changing mistake, as if by hands threading a loom. Confusion on a camping trip leads to a tangling of lives, adventures and experiences; along Lake Michigan and to archeological sites in Peru. University students find ways to pay for their studies and internships. Along the way, they mature and become themselves through learning, life challenges and connections. Romance and friendships among forest trails and lakeshores bring an appreciation of the lake state's natural resources. Travel and experience their adventures vicariously, from singing sand to ancient ruins.
