Ch. Laddie of Inglehurst

Image 15 ½” x 12 ½” framed to 22” x 18”. Print is signed to Edna Girandot, “Compliments of C C Hendee” (the artist). C. Cass Hendee (Highland Kennels) became involved in Gordons in 1890 and was still active into the 1930s. In the 1939 GSCA Yearbook, Mrs. Girandot describes him as a resident of Chicago “where his work as an artist of considerable renown is very often put aside for judging assignments as well as to exhibit some of his dogs, most of which are bred from his favorite, Ch. Laddie of Inglehurst.” Laddie was whelped June 22, 1933. High bidder is responsible for shipping (approximately $30-$45, depending on your location) or you may pick up the item at the show.
