Description
Iris ‘Yvonne Pelletier’, Tall Bearded Iris
This award-winning heirloom bearded iris hybrid, introduced in 1916, is similar to I. pallida with the same disease-free foliage that lasts all summer (unlike so many bearded iris) and slender well-branched flower stalks that stand without assistance. The small flowers are pale violet-blue with long white beards that are tipped with yellow. This variety came from the garden of late great British horticulturist Graham Stuart Thomas, enough said! 46” tall.
Photo-This is a photo of I. pallida, which is similar to Iris ‘Yvonne Pelletier’
Large bare root clump. Will likely bloom this year.
