Description
Four (4) 30-minute music lessons for lessons on the instrument of the winner's choice.
CCAA offers children and adults private music lessons with the intent of helping every student reach their musical potential. Every lesson is thoughtfully prepared and customized to meet the needs of the individual student. We teach with attention to fundamentals while nurturing growth and improvement. Our teaching tools are experience, motivation, self-expression, and musical awareness.
CCAA instructors are intentional in getting to know their students and nurture a positive and motivating teacher-student relationship. Beyond teaching kinetic and other technical skills, our teachers patiently support students through each stage of growth, empowering them with self-confidence and proficiency. Private lessons are offered for all ages and abilities. All lessons are customized to the student’s learning style, interest, ability, and goals. We find the individual approach, and assess progress, practice, and pedagogy at a pace intended to maximize development. We have highly skilled teachers who are proficient in teaching all styles and genres, from classical to jazz and everything in between. Generally, our curriculum emphasizes fundamental technique, music reading and the overall development of musicianship and music appreciation. Students have fun while growing their skill, confidence, and preparation for performance. Adults can rest assured that it is never too late to learn to play!
New students only.
Additional Information
The Forest Knolls Spring Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year! The funds we raise are crucial for holding enriching, free community events, such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and 'This Is How We Do It' night. The funds also provide grants to teachers and partners for school projects not covered by the annual budget, including books for the Rock N' Read Tutoring Program and equipment for the FKES Bike Bus. The auction will take place online from April 23 to May 2, culminating in a celebratory evening during the FKES Parent Social, where we’ll gather as a community to honor our winners and generous supporters.
