Description
Clay, 13.5 x 12 x 10 in. Los Angeles based ceramicist, Chrissy Hsieh, started working in ceramics since August 2022. Originally a physician and a lawyer, Hsieh’s creativity and passion for the arts exploded when she touched clay for the first time. Hsieh feels that with ceramics, the artist needs to relinquish part of the control to the will of the clay and the best pieces are formed when harmony and balance are achieved. Every piece she creates stems from a basic concept that evolves during the process. She believes that life is most precious when we least expect it.
