Survivor Artist: Alexandra Stewart. "This painting gives homage to people and organizations who have dedicated their time, expertise, and compassion to help sexual abuse victims, near and far. It was created during a time of personal loss and grief that ignited a fire within me to reflect what it means to be a survivor, which produced the title: Soul Care Community. You cannot heal in isolation. It takes a city to raise a child, especially when it suffered great trauma. What you see is a heart, mind, and soul that was nourished from above (spiritual aspect) and by a City of Healing (psychological & emotional aspect) that produces healing in the innermost parts of our being."
