Description
Sagina Subulata (Irish Moss) is a low growing, perennial groundcover in the carnation family with tufts of tiny, slender stems that grow together to form a lush carpet of green and profuse tiny, white, fragrant daisy-like flowers that bloom in late spring. It does best in moderately fertile, acid to neutral soil, in full sun with some midday shade. It is nice between stepping stones, in containers, or used as a ground cover in small areas.
1 Quart container
Clearview Nursery had its early start in ground cover production in 1989 and has since expanded to offer a full line of perennials, an annual lineup that is best suited for container gardening in addition to high-quality shrubs and small trees. Moreover, given the ever-increasing demand, they are placing a strong emphasis on providing their customers a greater variety of native plant materials.
