Clearview Nursery - Calamagrostis "Brachytricha" (Grass)

Calamagrostis "Brachytricha" is a stately grass with large feathery seed plumes. Of all the reed grasses this variety is most tolerant of partial shade, although it will relax some to cascade gently. Plumes are very showy, emerging pink tinged, maturing to tan. Calamagrostis are prized for the bold vertical accent that they lend to the border. Among the earliest flowering grasses, they are very mannerly and stay attractive all winter.
