The Dixie Wood Fern (Dryopteris x australis) is a tall, upright, semi-evergreen hybrid fern (4–5 ft) known for its glossy, dark green fronds and graceful arching habit. Ideal for woodland gardens or as a specimen, it is deer-resistant, thrives in moist shade, and is hardy in zones 5–9. 1 Quart container Clearview Nursery had its early start in ground cover production in 1989 and has since expanded to offer a full line of perennials, an annual lineup that is best suited for container gardening, in addition to high-quality shrubs and small trees.
