Cliffs Of Id Climbing Gym

The Cliffs of Id, our neighbors on Jefferson, have given us this pass redeemable for either 2 intro to climbing classes (age 14 & over) OR 2 intro to bouldering classes OR two day passes. Intro to climbing is the quickest way to rope up and get climbing. In this class, you will learn the basic skills needed to start rope climbing: how to secure your harness, tie a figure 8 follow through knot and complete your safety checks. You will also learn how to belay using an ATC belay device, catch a fall and lower your climber back to the ground. After the class, use your newfound skills and climb until you can't climb anymore! Must be at least 14 years old. Want to try bouldering instead? Let the folks at Cliffs of Id take you under their wing and introduce you to the wonderful world of climbing. In this group setting, they will scratch the surface of basic technique and help you get off the ground and up the wall. They will cover climbing and falling safety, orient you to the bouldering world and answer any questions you may have about this magical, mystical wonderland they call the Cliffs of Id. Available to any age. Bouldering and climbing classes include 2 lessons, rental gear and a day pass. Expires 03/29/2027
