Description
Ahoy Mateys! Join Captain Mike for a glorious daytime cruise for four (4) aboard the 44 foot yacht “Latitude”. Meet at Pilot’s Point Marina in Westbrook, CT at 9:00 AM and be greeted with either a delicious Mimosa! Cruise across Long Island Sound to a secluded harbor on fabulous Shelter Island.
After dropping anchor, rest in the sun, go for a swim or just take in the sights. Drop the dingy to cruise in for a little closer look or hit the unspoiled beaches. Of course, a gourmet lunch will be served on board. On the way back you’ll cruise a ways up the Connecticut River past the stunning Fenwick lighthouse and other Old Saybrook favorites.
Scheduling of daytime cruise will be at a mutually convenient time between the winning bidder and Captain Mike Maguire. No expiration date.

View auction items and place bids online beginning Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Noon through Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 8:30 pm (EDT). The Kate Gala Silent Auction will accept online bids via Bidding Owl only. There will be no manual/paper bidding for the Silent Auction. Payment from the winning bidder is required at the close of the auction via Bidding Owl Online. Items not paid for within 48 hours will be offered to the next highest bidder. All auction items must be picked up by September 12, 2026 at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, 300 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of that item without refund. All sales are final. There are no exchanges or refunds. Items may not be redeemed for cash. All terms and conditions are stipulated by the donor. The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center assumes no risk, liability or responsibility made by donors or for consequences of trips or overnight stays purchased at the auction. The winning bidder agrees to assume liability for damage done beyond normal wear and tear. The Kate makes no representations or warranties, expressed or implied. All proceeds support the Kate's programs and the Katharine Hepburn Museum, a one-of-a-kind museum upholding the legacy of our namesake. The Kate is a 501(c) (3) non-profit arts organization.
