Deena has been immersed in teaching and creating art throughout her life. She has taught all ages and many disciplines, but watercolor is her love. She holds a BA in Art History and Studio Art from Colby College in Waterville. Her artwork has gained national recognition for its innovative use of watercolors, textured ground, and specialized surfaces in landscape painting. She has exhibited in Italy, the US and Canada.
