Her work includes projects for Lake Hickory Country Club, Shurtape, Safe Harbor of NC, Sipes Orchard Home, the Children’s Advocacy Center, Pregnancy Care Center, and numerous homes throughout the region. A past president of ASID Carolinas and a three‑time board member, she is a registered interior designer in North Carolina. Susan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Interior Design and minors in Art Communications, Business, and Music. Her award‑winning work has been featured in Spectacular Homes of the Carolinas and Sophie Magazine, and Guest Interiors has been named Best Interior Design Firm in the Catawba Valley for many consecutive years. In 2023, she received the national ASID Medalist Award honoring her design work and community service. She lives in Hickory with her husband, David, and their beloved rescued animals—Nicky, Rosa, and Gracie.
