Description
The Sloop Jones Workshop is a wonderful way to spend a St. John morning with friends, coworkers or family. It’s even fun to do with complete strangers! Play with paint, learn about color, and hand-paint your very own shirt of art and cap to take home. You will start by learning about how colors interact with one another, warm and cool colors working only with Q-Tips and paper towels. You will soon “graduate” to tools like brushes and maybe paper and then work up to painting your own wearable art. Then, after gaining a comfort level on your hat, you will move on to your shirt. Sometimes, when supply allows, in place of hats for a family, we can do a tablecloth. This is a wonderful piece for a family to have for years to come – a tablecloth to eat off of for family dinners, Thanksgivings, Holidays, a priceless memory to make memories from.
