Early Fall Meadow Walk at Orion Oaks County Park

Celebrate the beauty of early autumn with Ken and Amy Elwert on a relaxing, guided walk through the scenic meadows of Orion Oaks County Park. This easy 45-minute to 1-hour hike covers approximately 1.25 miles along the park's beautiful west-side trails. The terrain is mostly level, with only a few gentle hills rising about 50 feet in elevation near the beginning of the walk. Benches are conveniently located at the ¼-mile and ½-mile points, making this an enjoyable outing for walkers of all abilities. Along the way, Ken and Amy will share interesting insights about the area's plants, wildlife, and the changing colors of the season while enjoying fellowship in God's beautiful creation.
