Description
The vessel is 7" wide by 8" tall and made by Effie Brenner who is a long time instructor here at the Arts Center and member of the Potters Guild. Effie is nspired by the traditional pottery of the Pueblo Indians, she hand builds her one-of-a-kind vessels using the ancient coil method. Once dry, each piece is carefully burnished using terra sigillatta, giving it the soft rich polish of a river stone. She pays meticulous attention to the form and surface of each one of my ceramic pieces. This will be a beautiful addition to your ceramics collection or the start of one. You can see more of Effie's work on our CAC BeaDazzle Artisan Gift Shop and at this Spring's Potters Guild sale in May.
