Eric Cantona was 'The Legend that Changed the History of Manchester United, when he joined the club on November 26th, 1992. With a deal reported to be around 1 Million Pounds, Ferguson's assistant, Brian Kidd apparently asked 'Has he lost a leg or something?" when being told the final sum. He later made 182 appearances and scored 82 Goals. His debut for United was on the 6th December 1992 and he left United on 1st May 1997, when he retired from Football and took up a career in cinema.
