Description
Possibly the most beautiful of the species in terms of their delicacy of foliage and flower. Almost like crushed silk shot through with deep pink veins the flowers are exquisite. The leaves resemble H. orientalis, except that they disappear in June as the plant goes summer dormant. In early spring, the clumps are topped with H. orientalis size flowers of either white or pink. H. thibetanus seems to dislike poor drainage, so a good rich well drained woodland soil will probably be best. Once established it forms large clumps over time.
Pot size: 4" round
