Jana has developed a notable style and an enthusiastic presence in her local art community, not only as a prolific creator but also as a devoted advocate for the visual arts in Texas.  Jana co-founded and maintained a board position at Big Medium from 2002-2023.  This is the arts organization that started the East Austin Studio Tour (now Austin Studio Tour that our Little EAST is part of).  She is also mom to Jude in 5th grade - they are new to Blackshear this year!
