SusieCakes is an American-style bakery that bakes traditional, home-style desserts from scratch, including cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. Inspired by the founder's grandmothers, the company focuses on using simple, traditional ingredients like real butter, sugar, and eggs to create comforting treats that evoke a sense of nostalgia.

Swedish Hill Bakery an Austin, Texas-based bakery, cafe, and deli known for its pastries, bread, and coffee, which also serves breakfast, sandwiches, salads, and rotisserie chicken. Originally opened as Sweetish Hill Bakery in 1975, it was revamped in 2019 and now operates under MML Hospitality, with multiple locations in the Austin area. Little Swedish is everything you’ve come to expect from Swedish Hill—just in a smaller package. Open daily, 7am to 5pm, it’s your destination for coffee, freshly baked breads and pastries, made-to-order sandwiches, salads, deli case specialties, and cakes. Take it to-go or grab a seat outdoors.

Zilker Botanical Garden is located on 28 acres nestled within Zilker Metropolitan Park in the heart of downtown Austin. This "jewel in the heart of Austin" features heritage live oaks set into a hillside, and offers a lush, shady respite from everyday urban life with panoramic views to downtown and beyond. Theme gardens include the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, The Riparian Streambed, The Hartman Prehistoric Garden, and The Mabel Davis Rose Garden. These and other gardens are woven together with pathways, streams, and Koi-filled ponds, creating an urban oasis full of shaded hideaways, sunny lawn areas, and thousands of native and cultivated plants.
