Description

Fenris was the brother of Freya and father to Sitka and Mowgli, all of whom live/lived at Wild Spirit. True to his namesake, he was one of our largest and most impressive animals, but he was a gentle giant in truth, especially with those who had earned his trust--something we were always so surprised to see him offer up after the life he had before being rescued. 

Sadly, we were forced to say goodbye in 2025 after he was diagnosed with cancer. He is deeply missed by his favorite Caretakers, who continue to remind his sister Freya how much he loves her, even if he's no longer here.

This biography sign used to hang on the fence near Fenris' habitat, allowing guests to learn more about his life before and after being rescued. It is in great condition and measures approximately 19.2" X 13.2".
