About the Artist: Dan Seaward is a printmaker and illustrator from Boston, Massachusetts, currently based in Oxford, Ohio. His work is deeply rooted in both nature and storytelling. He loves the natural world, the spirit of exploration, and romanticizing a simpler bygone era. When he is not making art, you’ll often find him in the woods foraging for mushrooms, collecting fossils, or traveling when he can! Dan uses traditional block printing as well as watercolor to capture and preserve nature. Repurposing antique postcards in his art is a favorite challenge—the century-old postmarks and handwritten letters add an extra layer of nostalgia to each piece.
