Fourteen Live Song Recordings by Richard Carter

Richard Carter, CIFC director from 1997 to 2004, introduced a myriad of artistic and musical traditions into the culture of camp and established many of the songs that now make up CIFC’s musical repertoire. To this year’s auction, Richard offers a one-of-a-kind slice of camp history: recordings he made as a gift to a CIFC counselor during the “Christmas in July” session. These fourteen songs, which include hits such as “Here Comes the Sun, “Circle Game,” “The Mary Ellen Carter,” evoke years of beloved camp tradition.
