Description
Cork & Fork Fine Wine Merchants is pleased to offer a French themed in-home wine tasting for 6 to 12 guests at the residence or place of work of this item's highest bidder. The tasting will feature six French wines across sparkling, rosé, white, and red categories, offering guests a guided tour of classic French styles and regions. The format is designed as a relaxed but polished tasting experience suitable for a private home gathering, celebration, or small-group entertaining occasion. Here is a description of the lineup you and your guests can look forward to:
• French Sparkling Wine, such as Crémant, to open the tasting with freshness and elegance.
• French Rosé, ideally Provence or another classic French rosé region, to introduce bright fruit and a lighter savory profile.
• Crisp French White, such as Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc or a comparable refreshing white.
• Rounder or richer French White, such as Chardonnay-based or Rhône-inspired styling, to broaden the tasting range.
• Lighter-bodied French Red, such as Pinot Noir, Gamay, or Cabernet Franc-based expression.
• Fuller-bodied French Red, such as Bordeaux- or Rhône-inspired styling, to finish with depth and structure.
This progression moves from lighter, brighter wines into fuller and more structured selections, helping guests taste each wine with clarity and balance.
*Please note, Cork & Fork will not provide glassware or service equipment for this event. The host (winning bidder) will need to supply:
• Wine glasses for all guests, ideally one per guest at minimum
• Openers and basic wine service tools
• Water glasses and water service
• Dump bucket or discreet pour-out vessel
• Napkins
• Serving surface or table area for bottles and any printed tasting materials
• Optional light bites, such as baguette, cheeses, charcuterie, nuts, or fruit, if the host would like food accompaniment
