Fund a New CLHOF Walking App and Choose the Location

Description

You may be familiar with our South Side Literary Bus Tour and Uptown Literary Walking Tour apps. The idea is to create content (maps, excerpts, reading lists, history, related media links) to guide us through a particular neighborhood or section in our city.  Both apps are available on our website, so you (and anybody else) can take the tours in whole or part (there are variations of the tours that are shorter and longer)--anytime you want.  Ultimately, we hope to introduce (or deepen your appreciations for) various parts of our great city.   

The time and cost of producing an app is significant--we rely mostly on volunteer help, but that slows down the process considerably. Help us speed things up, by contributing to a budget for the research, writing, mapping, design, and programming needed to complete a third app for next spring. 

As a teaser, the auction item winner can choose the next walking app neighborhood from a choice of Downtown, Gold Coast, Pilsen, Oak Park,  or far South Side, and will get a shout out in the app.
