Description
Your donation helps fund a scholarship for a student to attend the annual Uta Hagen Acting Class, taught by Jerome Davis. The eight-week scene study class is based on the concepts expressed in Uta Hagen’s landmark book Respect for Acting. Davis studied with Uta Hagen at HB Studios in New York for seven years. Class will be founded in Hagen’s “object exercises.” Students will have the opportunity to work each week on scenes from modern dramatic literature and present Hagen’s object exercises in class.
Classes take place July 6-August 24, 2026 from 7-10 PM on Mondays at 224 Polk St. Raleigh, NC 27604, with a final showcase performance on Monday, August 31, 2026.
