Enjoy the luxurious feel of naturally shed New Guinea Singing Dog fur from rescue Bowie! New Guinea Singing Dogs are known for their unique vocalization (which here at the sanctuary we hear all the time from this vocal guy), and they are the rarest canine species on the planet! These ancient canines were believed to be extinct in the wild until a few years ago when a small population was confirmed to be living on Papua New Guinea. 

Bowie and the other singers involved in his rescue never lived in the wild, originating instead from a flea market, where two pairs of singers were purchased and eventually bred so rampantly that their population grew to over 80 animals! Thankfully, they were all rescued by the collaborative efforts of numerous organizations who came together to save them. 

Bowie's fur makes the perfect craft for Christmas:
- Take some of the fur from the bag and a clear ornament
- Stuff the fur into the ornament and voila! You've got the perfect decoration to add to your Christmas tree!
