Gather Around the Table

This piece of art made by Dana Dorsch begins with a hand painted wood Lazy Susan, using layered acrylic washes. Multiple pours of tinted resin are then applied to the surface, creating depth, luminosity, and movement. The resin is manipulated with pigments, metallic accents, and cellular effects to mimic the texture and energy of marble. Resin is a strong food safe finish. Hand wash with soap and water and dry with soft cloth. Use only a butter knife on resin surface, no chopping or sharp knives.
