Description
Bring yourself, or gather up to four friends, and learn the art of apple tree grafting in this hands-on workshop!
Did you know you can grow multiple varieties of apples from a single tree? In this class, you’ll learn how to make that a reality. We’ll cover the basics of grafting, why it works, and how to successfully combine different apple varieties onto one tree. You’ll leave with practical skills and a deeper understanding of fruit tree propagation.
Schedule a weekday or weekend session that works best for your group. Class located in Clark's backyard in midtown Santa Cruz, or another location of your choice. Instruction is led by a lifelong horticultural enthusiast, naturalist, arborist, citrus breeder, core member of the Rare Fruit Growers Society, who happens to be Principal Amelia’s dad.
Come ready to learn, get your hands a little dirty, and grow something amazing!
