Titled - Wire Man Aurora Star Trails.
For this image, Greg did a time lapse series of 362 photos of 5 seconds exposures and stacked them together to create the star trails, as the earth spins.
Using a 14mm lens on a full frame sensor, gave Greg the extra wide view to fit Polaris. Polaris, commonly known as the (North Star) is a yellow supergiant star in Ursa Minor.
Located roughly 433 light-years away. It is famous for sitting almost exactly over Earth's rotational axis.
The Wire Man located on highway 97 has been given many other names over the years, such as: Monster, Guardian of the Vines, The Reaper, Harry, The Phantom, Jesus Casper, The Watcher, The Protector, Vine Man, Swamp Monster, The Dementor, The Ghoul, Monster Mash, Scarecrow, Scary Leaf Monster and the Ghost of Osoyoos. Local's say it's been there since the 50's or 60's.
Photo was taken on Feb 26 2023 when the Northern Lights were very active.
This Beautifully Unique photo would look great in any room, showcasing stunning features.
