Description

Griffin Ness played for the University of North Dakota for four seasons (2020-24), serving as a forward for the Fighting Hawks during one of the program’s most successful stretches. A native of Wayzata, Minnesota, Ness helped UND capture three Penrose Cups, make three NCAA Tournament appearances, and win the NCHC Frozen Faceoff championship during the 2020-21 season. Over his collegiate career, Ness appeared in 111 games, recording 10 goals and 10 assists. He was named to the NCHC All-Academic Team in all four seasons and earned NCHC Distinguished Scholar recognition as both a freshman and sophomore. Following his senior season, he signed with the Maine Mariners of the ECHL.
