Description
An original Margaret R Fairhall watercolour painting. 'Margaret was born in 1948, as a teenager she moved to Stewart Island and worked at the Ferndale Guesthouse and then Bragg's store. As her interest in art grew and with young children, Margaret studied art via correspondence, later attending art classes in Invercargill and Wanaka. As she refined her skills she progressed from watercolours to acrylic and oil paintings, she opened the Ocean View Gallery, overlooking Halfmoon Bay, where she was able to display and sell her paintings.'
