Description

A handmade classical-style guitar with a quality hard-shell case.  It is based on a guitar by Spanish builder Antonio Torres who set the form of the classical guitar in the late 1800s.  It has nylon strings and its neck is a bit wider than that of a steel-string guitar. The back and sides are crafted of Carpathian (European) maple, while the soundboard (front) is Carpathian (European) spruce. It has a surprisingly full sound even when played lightly and will fill a good-sized room when asked nicely. A personal inspection and/or the ability to give it a few strums can be arranged prior to the auction.
