One of the premier art collector's museums in the United States, Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens is dedicated to enlightening and engaging visitors with an experience inspired by founder Marjorie Merriweather Post's passion for excellence, gracious hospitality and intent to preserve and share the beauty and history of her collections, garden and estate.
Hillwood is set upon 25 acres of gardens and surrounding woodlands in northwest Washington, DC. Twelve acres of enchanting formal gardens include a Japanese-style garden, a rose garden and a French parterre.

Additional Information
The Forest Knolls Spring Auction is our largest fundraising event of the year! The funds we raise are crucial for holding enriching, free community events, such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and 'This Is How We Do It' night. The funds also provide grants to teachers and partners for school projects not covered by the annual budget, including books for the Rock N' Read Tutoring Program and equipment for the FKES Bike Bus. The auction will take place online from April 23 to May 2, culminating in a celebratory evening during the FKES Parent Social, where we’ll gather as a community to honor our winners and generous supporters.
