Description

Jake Schmaltz played for the University of North Dakota hockey team for 4 seasons (2021-25). Schmaltz played 147 games and tallied 63 points. During Schmaltz’s Junior (2023-24) and Senior (2024-25) years, he was named Assistant Captain. Schmaltz was awarded NCHC All-Academic and NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete honors for four straight years. Following Schmaltz’s time at UND, he signed a one-year AHL contract with the Providence Bruins. Schmaltz was a 7th round Boston Bruins pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. 

This special event jersey and sock combination were worn by Jake Schmaltz during the Hall of Fame Game held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on October 29th, 2022. Schmaltz scored the second goal of the game.
