Description
A Japanese cooking lesson in your home for up to 8 people - possibly beginning with a shopping trip at a Japanese market in Industry City - with author Harris Salat. Harris is a TBLS parent and author of four books on Japanese cooking. His fifth book is currently in the works.
He has cooked in Japanese restaurants in New York City, Kyoto and Fukuoka. The aim of the lesson is to introduce the simplicity of the cuisine to those unfamiliar with cooking it, and to share recipes and methods to add to your home cooking playbook, especially for quick weeknight meals that are both delicious and nutritious.
Winner must live in the metro NYC area. Winner agrees to cover cost of groceries for the event.
