Júlio Dolbeth, nasce em Angola em 1973, vive e trabalha no Porto.
Doutoramento em Arte e Design, área de ilustração, pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (FBAUP). Mestrado em Arte Multimédia, FBAUP. Licenciado em Design de Comunicação, FBAUP. Professor Auxiliar na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. Co-fundador e curador da galeria Dama Aflita, no Porto, entre 2008 e 2016. Artista e ilustrador, tem exposto regularmente em mostras individuais e coletivas.

Júlio Dolbeth was born in Angola in 1973 and lives and works in Porto, Portugal.
He holds a PhD in Art and Design, with a specialization in Illustration, from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP), where he also completed a Master’s degree in Multimedia Art and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design.
He is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. From 2008 to 2016, he was the co-founder and curator of *Dama Aflita*, an illustration gallery in Porto.
As an artist and illustrator, he has exhibited his work regularly in both solo and group exhibitions.
