Description

Paw and nose prints created by late low-content wolfdog Kirito, who looked like a wolf in sheep's clothing and had more nicknames than any other rescue at the sanctuary. Kirito joined our Big Pack in the Sky in 2023. 

He was an extremely sweet and social boy who absolutely loved human interaction. Unfortunately, according to his previous owner, he did demonstrate a number of undesirable behaviors that forced her to seek out sanctuary placement. For example, he was said to be an escape artist that demonstrated aggression in the presence of other male animals, and around high-value items such as food. This was demonstrated by his feuds with his male neighbors at Wild Spirit.

Fun Fact: Kirito was a huge fan of car rides, as we discovered during his trip from Alabama to New Mexico!
