Los Angeles Ballet (LAB) is a professional ballet company based in Los Angeles, California, celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season in 2025/2026 — two decades of artistry, innovation, and community engagement. Founded in 2004 by co-artistic directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary, along with executive director Julie Whittaker, the company debuted in December 2006 with an original production of The Nutcracker, which has since become a beloved holiday tradition for LA audiences and visitors
