Late Afternoon in the Pasture - Casey Mulloy

“Late Afternoon in the Pasture,” is an original oil painting on cradled canvas. As one of my favourite recurring subject matters, cows remind me of my home in rural small town southern Ontario and are a very charming and familiar sight on road trips. Casey Mulloy is a painter and hobby collector located in Toronto. My work is often inspired by nature, and by my childhood growing up in a small town. My work romanticizes the nature I miss, and my ever-growing series of paintings shows my love for it. I have a special interest in nature when it reclaims harsh human spaces and man-made objects. When I don't have a brush in my hands, I usually have a sewing needle, a crochet hook, or a ball of clay instead.
