Description
Lehigh County, PA. 9x12". This is another barn, owned by Reverend Blumer, the savior of the Liberty Bell. He rescued the Liberty Bell and hid it in the bottom of his church, preventing the British from melting it to make cannons. A nicely preserved 19th-century barn with a compelling story about the owners. This painting can be seen at the Morgan County Historical Society, located in McConnelsville, Oh.
