Lochlea Single Malt Whisky

Rooted in Scottish history, we are very proud that Robert Burns called Lochlea his home throughout his formative years, working hard on the farm by day and debating locally by night.

Growing barley and enduring long, hard days Burns was exposed to the rhythms of rural life.  This influenced his poetry, which often drew on his farming experiences and observations.

Over 240 years later, Lochlea Distillery continues this tradition, just like Robert Burns did so many years before, using it to make their Single Malt whisky.  Love, care, and attention from field to cask is paramount in creating this whisky.  Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do, both on the farm and in the distillery - always striving to improve their current efforts and give back to the land as much as possible.
