When divorced accountant and aspiring novelist Frank gets a call from the police, it can only mean trouble. His divorced friend Tom has just been tossed out of his girlfriend’s house. Frank agrees to let Tom stay in his tiny apartment for a few days. A few days quickly turns into a few months, and Frank has to find a way to get Tom out.
