Luray Caverns
Description
Luray Caverns in Virginia are the largest caverns in the eastern U.S. and a National Landmark, featuring cathedral-sized rooms, towering stone formations, and crystal-clear pools. Highlights include the Great Stalacpipe Organ, the world's largest musical instrument, and Dream Lake, a still body of water that perfectly reflects the formations above. Visitors explore the caverns via well-lit, paved walkways on a guided tour that takes approximately an hour or more.
